Draft of the Recreation Plan
The Manistee County Planning Commission has developed a draft Recreation Plan. The plan evaluates existing recreation opportunities, reviews public opinion regarding parks and recreation, and proposes a five-year action plan, and other related items that the county wishes to pursue. Copies of the draft Recreation Plan will be available for review at the following locations:

If you are interested in reviewing or submitting comments regarding the draft Recreation Plan, please send written comments to the address listed below by August 18, 2008. At 10:00 a.m. on August 19, 2008, at the Manistee County Courthouse, the Board of Commissioners will conduct a public hearing on the county’s proposed Recreation Plan.
